We want to take you on a multi-day trek to Wadi Feid, one of Jordan’s most beautiful streams. The water in this wadi is plentiful, with large springs and pools along the way, and the plantlife is lush and lovely. Wadi Feid offers us an exciting rappelling opportunity, and during the expedition we will rappel down 10 different waterfalls. We meet at the border from Israel, and begin the trek itself in the ancient village of Shamakh. This is a true wilderness experience - we will be totally disconnected. Just us and nature.
Please note that extreme travel insurance is absolutely mandatory to join this trek.
At 8:00 am we will meet at the Jordan border crossing, and drive to Akeva to have breakfast and pick up food for our journey.
Next, we will drive to Chamakh village where we will begin our hike in the Wadi.
At the end of the day, we will set up camp right before the falls.
We will spend the day rappelling down 5 different waterfalls and swimming in the natural water sources.
We will continue our hike, and camp out in the wilderness under a new waterfall.
Our day will begin with more rappelling, including the tallest of the waterfalls (60 meters).
We will make our way out of the valley by hiking until we reach the Jordanian Arava where jeeps will pick us up and take us back to the border.
