Terms and conditions

Credit card payments in favor of Wild-Trails are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland ("TREKKSOFT"). TREKKSOFT will appear as WILD TRAILS on your credit card statement. The domain where you enter and process your payment is owned and operated by TREKKSOFT.

These are the terms & conditions for purchasing and participating in any Wild-Trails tour, training, or activity. These apply to all tours booked through the website ‘wild-trails.com’, or booked through third party providers but operated by Wild-Trails.  

Date or time of departure, pickup, or drop off, or the content of a tour itinerary, are subject to change or cancellation should unforeseen circumstances occur, at the discretion of the tour operator changes to the itinerary.

 

Activity times are not flexible, and Wild-Trails will not be held accountable for changes in the tour caused by the group’s late arrival to the rendezvous point.

All tours have a minimum participation age. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure no one in the party is too young for the tour. Tour participants under the age of 18 must receive signed permission from a parent or legal guardian.   

 

Price of the activity will be determined by the number of participants upon ordering. There will be no refunds in case one or more participants do not take part in the activity.
 

Participants who are non-Israeli citizens should bring with them their passports and blue Israel entry slip.


Rates do not include client’s meals, food, and beverages unless otherwise specified in the program.

Entrance fees are not included unless stated otherwise, for both private and daily tours.

Special needs: wheelchairs, baby chairs, carriages, allergies, and the like require advanced notification.

All participants must wear closed-toe shoes, and in some cases hiking boots. Participation with sandals, flip-flops, crocs, etc. will not be permitted.

It is recommended to bring a change of clothes for many of the activities - especially those that include canyoning, caving, or hiking.


Participants should wear long hair tied back, and avoid any dangly or loose jewelry or clothing.
 

By signing up for a tour participants certify that they are in sufficiently good health for the activities involved. If there is any uncertainty Wild-Trails should be contacted prior to booking.


Tours crossing the Jordanian/Egyptian border are subject to government taxes and visa fees, payable in USD, JOD, or ILS, at the borders. This tax is subject to change by the authorities (often at short notice) and out of the control of the operator. It is the client’s responsibility to know the fees and carry the appropriate currency.

Traveller who is refused passage across a border by a government or authority, or decides to withdraw at their own discretion at any stage during the tour will not be entitled to claim any refund whatsoever

All daily tours are conducted in English.

Tour Operator accepts no liability for direct or consequential loss of personal belongings and recommends that valuable belongings be left at home. Passengers are covered by insurance for the tour provided by the tour operator. Neither the operator nor this site cannot be held responsible for injury, loss or damage due to unforeseeable circumstances. We recommend each customer take out insurance for health and damage.

The Operator may at their own discretion require a person to withdraw from any tour if their conduct is deemed to be offensive or harmful. We shall have no further liability for such traveler.

The Operator reserves the right to implement alternate locations or make other significant changes to the itinerary, including cancellation, due to weather conditions, operational considerations, or imposed security limitations.

The Operator will, in case of changes, delay or cancellation in service provided by third parties such as airlines, border agencies, government bodies, or others, attempt to provide solutions to ensure the minimal impact to the schedule, experience, and cost.

During the tour, guides, drivers or other members of our team might take pictures for marketing purposes. If passengers do not agree with this, please inform a member of our team.
